[NEWS][12.27.10] Hanteo reveals the winner of the "2010 Singer Award"

As the end of the year quickly approaches, the results for the "2010 Singer Award" have been calculated based on the most albums sold by an artist this year. The winner for 2010 is none other than SNSD with a chart-topping 303,442 in album sales of "Oh!", "Hoot", "Run Devil Run", "Genie", and "Gee" combined. As of today, "Oh!" sold an impressive 123,668 records, while their recent album "Hoot" had 94,942 sold. "Run Devil Run" brought in 57,037 for the girls while "Genie" and "Gee" sold 5,500 despite being released in 2009.

Coincidentally, SM's artists ranked #2 and #3 as well. Super Junior claimed their spot with 262,610 albums thanks to the 132,127 copies sold of "BONAMANA" as well as the 22 other albums of theirs also released. SHINee took #3 with 154,332 total album sales this year with 58,628 coming from "Lucifer". JYJ reached the 4th position with 127,456 albums sold from their 3 CDs.

B2ST achieved success earlier this month by breaking the 100,000 sales mark as a rookie group, and this feat helped them to round out the top 5 with the success of their 4 albums.

Congratulations to these 5 groups. Did your favorite make the list? Who do you think will top the Hanteo chart next year?
