We reported on the winners of last night's Golden Disk awards and now the winners have spoken up about their awards.
Girls' Generation won the Daesang for the year. In an interview with Joins, they explained that they had cried so much because they had not expected the award at all. They were also extremely disappointed Tiffany could not make it onto stage with them. They commented that they want nothing else more, and the only thing they want is to be nine members until the end.
The 2AM boys spoke up on twitter, with Jokwon tweeting, "I can't believe it.. I can't believe this second time.. I tried to keep from crying but I saw fans and I was so thankful I couldn't hold it back. ㅠㅠ I AM! We're Daesang singers now >_<". Seulong also tweeted, "Wah! Thank you so much for the Daesang ㅠㅠ All of you I AMs, I love you so much ㅠㅠ", Changmin continued with, "Everyone who loves us and worked so hard for us, I love you~^^* Thank you ㅠㅠ I'll try even harder~... I love you >_< keke". Jinwoon ended the tweets with, "Thank you so much.. I'm so happy.. It was only possible because you gave us so much love.. Thank you so so much^^!! I'll work even harder now!!^^" The 2PM boys and the miss A girls all flocked to congratulate the boys on their award on Twitter as well.
BEAST also tweeted their feelings on winning the rookie award last night. Yoseob tweeted a picture of the trophy along with, "Isn't it the besttt kekeke We got so many rookie awards I feel like we're really the best rookies keke. I'm so proud keke." Doojoon expressed how the award felt for him by saying, "When I was a kid I'd watch Golden Disk with my older sister on TV. It's so amazing that I got an award on that stage!! kekekeke. All the B2uties that came to cheer us on in the cold weather, thank you so much!!^^"
F.T. Island also thanked their fans by tweeting, "Primadonna :D" and "Primadonna thank you!!!!!^^". Hongki also said, "Ohh!!! We got the rock award!!^^ I'll work harder!!!", while Supreme Team's Simon D thanked his fans with a short tweet saying, "Thank you for the hip hop award. It's all thanks to you." Secret's Zinger also thanked her fans and said, "The dream has become a reality. Now we'll make imagination reality as well. Thank you."
BoA didn't hesitate to thank her fans either and said, "Golden Disk.. I haven't been there in years.. haha. Ah.. I think awards are really nice^^ Thank you for the nice award!!!! hehe~~^^" IU didn't have a Twitter account, so she instead went on her me2day to write, "Wow!! I got an award!!!! This year's just... sob ㅠㅠ".
However, Super Junior caught many fans attention because they apologized to their fans instead. Eunhyuk was the first to tweet, "Why are you crying..." Heechul followed soon with "Time is still flowing as we're being upset and disappointed. It's already past, so let's get ready for the new morning tomorrow. SNSD Daesang congrats congrats~♡ My members and staff and ELF, good job on the hard work. We're not quitting after this year so let's be cool and plan the future, go go."
Leeteuk followed with, "Thank you so much... And I'm so sorry... For voting for us, for cheering for us so loudly your throats much be hurting...♥ Your phone bill must have come out to be a lot..." He continued tweeting after and wrote, "Super Junior is my everything.. And ELF ^^ We'll keep protecting you...!!! We should be thankful for tomorrow, right? ^^ Thank you for everyone who came in the cold weather and everyone else who were watching! I thought it was summer because your love made it so hot, ke. Let's protect each other, I love you.."
Yesung continued on saying, "Thank you. I'm just so happy because of you guys," and Donghae finished the parade by tweeting, "I realized just how much I'm loved today! I'll try even harder ^^ You're going to trust us until the end, right?! Don't cheat on us ^^ Whatever anyone says, ELF is the best!! I love you!! I'll do even better in 2011!!"
