Korean idol groups SNSD and Big Bang will head to Tokyo for the prestigious 52nd Japan Record Awards on December 30th, 6:30 p.m. JST.
Last November, winners for the 52nd Japan Record Awards have been announced. However, there are still two awards left to be announced during the event – the Best New Artist and the Japan Record Award.
SNSD was one of the four winners for the New Artist category and is directly nominated for the Best New Artist. The award that Big Bang won last year.
Big Bang, on the other hand, was one of the ten artists to have one of their singles, Tell Me Goodbye, in the Best Song category. This makes them eligible to receive the grand prize for the said year-end awards show, the Japan Record Award.
